An active subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing period upon account deletion.

9. Bank Integration & PSD2

Your bank accounts are connected via the PSD2 interface of the service provider finAPI GmbH. Your consent to your bank is required for the bank connection. This consent is valid for 90 days and must be renewed upon expiration.

We will notify you via email in a timely manner before your consent expires. Without valid consent, no new transaction data can be retrieved. Data already stored remains available.

The provider does not guarantee the availability of PSD2 interfaces for individual banks.

10. AI-powered categorization

The service offers optional, AI-powered transaction categorization. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in your account settings.

Upon activation, transaction data (recipient, merchant, purpose, amount) is transmitted to the AI service provider Mistral AI. Categorization occurs automatically and can be adjusted manually. The provider does not guarantee the accuracy of the AI-based categorization.

11. API Access & Webhooks

The service provides an API that allows you to retrieve your data programmatically. Additionally, you can configure webhook endpoints to which notifications about new transactions are sent.

You are solely responsible for the security of your API credentials and webhook endpoints. The provider is not liable for any damages resulting from the improper use of the API or the disclosure of credentials.

API access is subject to a rate limit. The provider reserves the right to restrict or block API access in the event of misuse.

12. User Obligations

The user agrees to:

  • Provide only truthful information during registration
  • To treat their login credentials confidentially and protect them from access by third parties
  • Do not use the service for illegal purposes
  • Do not take any actions that could impair the functionality of the service
  • Notify the provider immediately of any security incidents or unauthorized use of your account

13. Availability

The provider strives to ensure that the service is available with as few interruptions as possible. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability. In particular, temporary restrictions may occur due to:

  • Maintenance and Updates
  • Disruptions at third-party providers (e.g., bank interfaces, payment service providers)
  • Force majeure or technical malfunctions beyond the provider’s control

14. Liability

The provider bears unlimited liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health, as well as for damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.

In cases of slight negligence, the provider is liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract.

The provider is not liable for:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data transmitted by banks
  • Damages resulting from AI-based categorization, insofar as such categorization is based on incorrect automatic classification
  • Damages resulting from the unavailability of bank interfaces or third-party services
  • Damages resulting from the user’s improper use of the API or webhooks

The handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy regulated. This is part of this Terms of Use agreement.

We will specifically inform you of your right to object and the consequences thereof in the notification.
